After a lifetime of service and sacrifice, these dogs are not provided end of life care by the organizations they served.
Each of these dogs are heroes – K-9 working dogs – that have saved and impacted lives. And after a lifetime of service and sacrifice, none of these dogs were guaranteed end of life care by the organization they served. Other not-for-profit groups have had to step up to ensure their needs are taken care of. They deserve it, and First Responders K-9 Medical Network is determined to be part of the solution.
Our mission is to minimize the financial burden to the handler by providing low or no cost medical care to these special and deserving working K-9s after they have retired. We do this in a number of ways, including:
Provide help for a K9 Hero
Becoming a part of our Veterinarian Network provides the opportunity to assist our K9 heroes in a way others can't!
Be a volunteer with our organization from technical help to helping at our events!
We’re a small organization based in Tennessee. Our directors have background in health care and entertainment industries. One founding director owns and operates a K9 Narcotic search company.
We are all passionate about helping people. By starting First Responders’ K-9 Medical Network, we’re able to help some of the most deserving working K-9s in the country AND their handlers who often make equally significant sacrifices.
By design, we’re a small organization keeping expenses to a minimum and maximizing impact. To do that, we need your help. Join the First Responders K-9 Medical Network family and support the mission
